UNITED STATES THE PROTAGONIST BEHIND TERRORISM !

During the cold war, the United States wanted to badly win against Russia. So great was their desire to win that rather than looking at what they were doing was ethically and morally wrong, they wanted to checkmate USSR at any cost. They took all possible measures and techniques to defeat Russia and used different shades of people ruthlessly to achieve their own gains. Afghanistan which was under Russian control at that point hence came into the picture. In the Afghan region, US used all shades of people – some of which were truly defending Islam, religious extremists and even thugs to work towards the end of Russia. All these groups were given sophisticated weaponry by the Americans to defeat the Russians, These efforts did not go in vain as it led to the demise of USSR and hence, victory of the United States. United States now dominated a unipolar world. But once the war was over, America had no control to reign these armed men in. These people who were well armed, belligerent later turned against each other and the rest of the civilized world in order to either impose their views on the rest of the world on to protect their wealth and power.

Afghanistan was a country which represented different identities of Afghanis. After the departure of Russia, various groups like Gulbudeen Hekmatyar, Massod, Abdul Rashid Dostum etc starting fighting amongst them. It is believed that Pakistan then raised an army of young Afghans laced and drained by Pakistani army which swept through Afghanistan and within weeks, took over Kabul. This army was the ‘Taliban‘.

Initially, people embraced them for they were tired by the perpetual bloodshed and fights for power and longed for a peaceful and serene atmosphere. However the Taliban turned out to be the most religiously extremist and wrote a bloody chapter in Afghani history. The rest is something the world has witnessed....the 9/11 bombings, the 26/11 terror attacks, the London metro bombing and the list goes on and on.

Iraq under Saddam Hussein was supplied with dangerous chemical weapons by USA for use against Iran in Iran-Iraq war (1980-88). Tens of thousands of Iraqis and Iranians perished in the war which ended without any side emerging as a victor. Later on, Saddam who was given full support for a decade was labelled as a ruthless dictator and was charged with storing weapons of mass destruction and having links with Al-Qaeda. Under the pretext of locating weapons of mass destruction, every nook and corner of Iraq was combed by UN inspectors for well over two years. Even though the inspectors gave clear report, Iraq was invaded and destroyed without obtaining UN approval and disregarding world protests. Without a doubt, these men would not be armed and creating terror all around the globe had it not been for United States. Even though it claims of eradicating terrorism from the world – it is but the root cause of today’s situation. For America, it’s always been about power.

United States’ economy runs primarily upon on the sale of arms and ammunitions to other countries. It is – in fact – the USA which is still handing over arms to their enemies.US money started to flow in Pakistan from 1954. Pakistan has been given funds for over 55 years by the American government to strengthen its military when a military agreement was signed between the two countries, as it was an American ally during the Cold War. When the Afghanistan situation came to the forefront, United Nations began to give Pakistan financial aid in order to push the Soviets out of Afghanistan, in which they succeeded – but this led to the formation of Taliban – which later turned into a curse for the United States.

After the 9/11 attacks, much visible changed in the attitude of America was seen – they heightened security and began to monitor all operations with great caution and security – but was there really a change? I doubt there was. You see, as it is mentioned before too, the United States to a large extent depends on the export of arms and ammunitions for the growth of its economy. So, the question arises, that even though we – on television, newspapers, etc – read that America strongly condemns terrorism and is taking drastic measures against it – is it in reality? I’m not talking about the Osama raid – yes, the 9/11 attacks shook the very foundations of the country and so, they undertook all possible measures to ensure that such an event does not occur ever again – but has United States stopped the production and extensive export of arms and ammunitions to other countries? No, it hasn’t.

It is indeed interesting to note that if there were to be a war; United States would benefit the most because it is the largest exporter of arms!

America’s past and present testifies the fact that there is no country in the world matching its destructive oriented policies. To what extent is a country like the United States of America willing to go to maintain its supremacy in the world – is a question which only the future holds!

WHO IS SONIA GANDHI ?

From Waitress to Empress !!

Sonia Gandhi is that her real name her birth certificate says her name is Antonia. Her Indian passport also has the same name Antonia Maino, so why is this name Sonia Gandhi being used, alright Gandhi can be understood because she married Rajiv Gandhi but why Sonia? When it is not even an Italian name. Rather it’s a Russian name. Antonia is an Italian name so why Mrs. Gandhi has taken this name Sonia from where did this name came from? There are lots of rumors about this but the real reason is that her father was there in a Russian Jail for four years as a prisoner of war, he had signed up with Hitler’s army when Hitler’s army went to Russia he was captured in Russia near St. Petersburg and kept into jail for four years. But unlike all other German soldiers whom Russian never released before twenty years in his case they released him in four which has taken into mean that he must have capitulated and agreed to become a member of the KGB and that is why he was let off. Therefore, he came back and gave Russian names to all his children.
According to Sonia Gandhi’s birth certificate she was born on 9th December, 1944 but at that time her father was in jail in Russia now unless like Jesus Christ did some immaculate conception took place! We are not able to explain how this is possible that she claims her father is Stefano Maino when his father he was in jail at that time since four years. That leads to another mystery, Sonia Gandhi in the parliamentary records she says that she was born in Orbassano, a town near Turin but her birth certificate says that she was born in Lusiana which is on the border of Switzerland a little village 30 km from Vicenza in Veneto, Italy. It was a resort town for German soldiers during war, so why did she hide her place of birth? Unless she don’t want her birth place to be known or she don’t want people to investigate.

Another thing Sonia Gandhi has faked her degree of Cambridge University , she had given an affidavit that said that she has studied English at Cambridge University but the University says that there was no such student so in the end Sonia Gandhi dropped this affidavit from the records. Now once she admitted that she studied there then she removes this affidavit isn’t it a total blunder? But unfortunately our society is not tuff enough, in any other country if you have faked your educational degrees or even in our country if an ordinary man gets an employment by faking his degree he loses his job! And even the Supreme Court repeatedly up held’s that one of the biggest crime is to fake your educational degree to get a job and here somebody who stood for the election of the Prime Minister and even won it has faked it. After reading the Satyas advertisement in the New York times the only objection is that he said that Sonia Gandhi passed high school but she did not, she did not passed the high school, she did not studied beyond class fifth in this she shares a common educational background with Karunanidhi.

Now a question arises how you supported yourself if you did not studied in the Cambridge University, how you survived there in London for five years don’t we Indian Citizens have a right to ask that even before marriages these questions are asked. Why can’t we ask Sonia Gandhi where did you worked for five years without a high school certificate without any higher educational degree, where did you work in London and for whom, the country has every right to know. When we people apply for a job we are asked these questions why can’t we ask the same questions to Sonia Gandhi.

Now the citizenship question, Is she a citizen of India, Yes she is a citizen of India, she got the citizenship by registration of course after almost 18 years after being in India well when it was asked to Sonia Gandhi that have you renounced your citizenship of Italy she writes NOT APPLICABLE. Why, how can you write that? A junior Officer object’s to it that you have to present a certificate from your government of Italy that you have renounced your Italian citizenship then Mrs. Gandhi produces a letter from the ambassador of Italy that Sonia Gandhi has renounced her citizenship and has informed us about it and Indira Gandhi orders this letter should be accepted. Under section 10 of the citizenship act any irregularities found at any time in the citizenship forms filled by a person is an offence and it can lead to cancellation of his/her citizenship. A new government in India without congressi flatter’s in it can easily cancel her citizenship with one stroke of the pen, the home minister could write “I having satisfied myself that Mrs. Sonia Gandhi having not filled her citizenship application form properly therefore hereby I, order the cancelation of her citizenship.” Well her future is very bleak in this very so matter.

Sonia Gandhi has received 2 billion dollars into her name in 1991, who says this and why, the government of Switzerland says this because the American’s had put pressure on them to tell them about Imelda and Ferdinand Marcos and all the leaders who had accounts in the Swiss bank. The Americans had put immense pressure so the Swiss authorities had tabulated all foreign leaders who had illegal accounts in Swiss bank. A photo of Rajiv Gandhi was also put up in a Swishter magazine with a caption below that he and his family owns 2 billion USD November 1991 and who was the beneficially of Rajiv Gandhi’s death, Sonia Gandhi all that money has gone to her similarly all the money of Indira Gandhi gose to Sonia Gandhi most of the money of Sanjay Gandhi goes to Sonia Gandhi; well death is very profitable for Sonia Gandhi. It is said in the law that in any criminal case the first suspect is the beneficial. Some day we may have to find out. What is wrong in asking these questions to the person who is ruling the country as Dr. Manmohan Singh is just the pseudo Prime Minister and Sonia Gandhi whereas Sonia Gandhi is ruling the nation from the backstage.

-This was said by Dr. Subramaniyam Swami at New York.

Cyber Terrorism: The Largely Ignored Looming Terrorist Threat to India?

C
yber Terrorism is the other big form of terrorism that India is likely to face, says the Intelligence Bureau.  Already, the bureau has issued several warnings on cyber attacks. The primary signs of tech-savvy terrorists came to light during the serial blasts that rocked the country in 2008. The question, however, is how geared up are we to face the threat?

Senior police officials say that despite the fact that there is a lot of labour going on in this course, there is always a scope for enhancement. But while officers speak of enhancement and conducting numerous seminars to counteract this future threat, a reality check with some cyber crime wings portrays a poor picture.

When cyber crime cells were set up in the country the majority of cases pertained to sleaze mails. At present the complaints have turn out to be more sophisticated and cyber crime officials say that there are, at average, 5-6 complaints of Phishing mails reach them every day.

The uncovering rate is not something that one can be proud with only one out of these cases solved. Also miserable is the certainty rate.

Previous Karnataka Director General of Police R Srikumar says the cyber cells need to keep updating and deploy new strategies.

When one talks of cyber crime, the problem is whatever we may do is just not enough. We are good as long as we prevent an attack and we could also say that we are not good enough if we don't prevent one, he said.

Expected Threats:
http://imads.rediff.com/0/default/empty.gif
The direct threat to India is from our immediate neighbours, Pakistan and China.

According to the IB, China may try and undermine our financial system by launching attacks on our banking sectors. Pakistan, on the other hand, might attack fundamental commodity-related services instead.

Reports point out that for a terrorist organisation, the easiest way to launch an attack on India would be through the cyber route. It is high asset, but it saves them the dilemma of manpower on the ground and the impact such an attack could cause is immense.

IB reports also propose that terrorist organisations could start an Internet war by hacking into websites and sending out viruses to subvert the enemy nation. The forms of cyber assaults would include cyber vandalism, destruction of essential commodity-related sites (ESCOMs) and phishing.

The cyber war on India is expected to be fought in three stages. Primary the enemy would bring down the control systems of defence installations, Parliament, railways and airports. Secondly, they would look to attack financial services such as banks and stock markets. Finally, ESCOMs and other utilities services will be taken over.

Cyber crime experts say this is a dangerous state of affairs. It will surely create a lot of panic and if they thrive, it could cause a lot of destruction since it would take days before the services actually recover.

Experts also say that even though Pakistan-based terrorists will prove lethal, the nastiest attack could come from China through the use of the Distributed Denial of Services attacks. In a DDOS attack, the bandwidth of a targeted system is flooded. They keep attacking other systems by multiplying and creating a bot-net.

India has had its share of such attacks, but they have not been on a huge scale as yet. The sector that has been targeted the most through such an attack is the telecom sector, but they have managed to endure it thanks to a strong infrastructure. However, companies have to constantly upgrade to be one up on the enemy.

The need of the hour:

A joint effort is required to contradict the cyber threat, say experts. Also, cyber crime police stations need to be revamped rapidly. The process is already in motion, says an official in the Bengaluru cyber crime cell.

According to the official, they had hired around 12 engineers from a reputed IT firm to assist them. Nevertheless, since they cannot do this all the time, it was certain to employ professionals.

The most recent batch of recruitments in a cyber cell will be computer and law graduates. "We would prefer having this combination since we need someone who has expertise in both computer applications as well as law since both are interlinked," he said.

A new batch of these graduates has arrived and they are been sent to several training programmes the official said, adding that these persons will be appointed on a sub-inspector level.

The Ministry of Finance too has upgraded its infrastructure to prevent cyber strikes. They have introduced a two token system, which mandates that a person carry with him a normal password and also a token that generates pin codes in real time. While logging-in the person will have to apply both.

Sources also point out that in key areas such as defence sectors; the use of a personal laptop has been banned. Only few laptops have been connected to both intranet and Internet.

There is a legal side to the problem too. Experts point out that if India needs to cater to this problem it cannot do so on its own. It will need the help of other countries. However, India is not a signatory to the 45-nation worldwide convention on cyber crimes. Moreover, India still awaits a legal framework on cyber attacks.

THE RED CORRIDOR OF INDIA

The Red Corridor

India, called the largest democratic state in the world that comprises a range of racial communities. They are held as one, feebly, behind the attire of democracy. For Indians, the harsh reality is that the long concealed fractures are now beginning to show up as large as the Grand Canyon; long term domination through history that has been horribly justified through hierarchical command particularly the caste system cannot endure. The downtrodden are rising and have been doing much more than making their presence known. Amid the havoc that the Maoists have been wreaking, the Indian control has been putting up a bold front.

However, few statements have come through that are alarming, and they actually highlight how worried India ought to be. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh himself has admitted that the Maoists posethe single biggest internal security threat to the country.” The time for covering up their own mess was over a long time ago, and, the Indian leadership, which has been re-elected, have to to focus on its domestic threats also. India’s present command may have been the only victors of the General Election of 2009, but they are compelled to accept a competing force on another front; Maoist rebels have also shown that they hold considerable sway in many districts of the country that now form what is known as ‘The Red Corridor.’

The Red Corridor a wide area in  the Eastern part of India; it stretches along much of its coast while covering many districts inland that meet central Indian states such as Utter Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, etc. This region has witnessed more than 4000 people losing their lives in a span of less than a decade thanks to those vicious Maoist attacks.

For a movement that holds as a great deal of control as the Maoist movement does, it is quite perceivable that it has its principles firmly rooted in the desire of its people; they wish to shatter the shackles that have confined and marginalized them for decades. In fact, this Maoist movement, which is now better recognized domestically as the Naxal uprising, was initiated as a red peasant uprising around May, 1967.  This revolution earned its name because it began at a village in West Bengal, which is known as Naxal Bari. Apparently, this movement was a response to feudalism.

The Naxal uprising was initiated in the shape of a protest that could have gone by comparatively unnoticed. With injustice and oppression of peasants being a usual practice, there was enough firewood to keep the movement going. It is supposed that communalism had something to do with galvanizing this movement; it is believed that the peasants have been manipulated by individuals with foreign ideology.

Charu Majumdar and Kanu Sanyal are believed to be the two main communist revolutionaries who have spurred the Maoist movement in India. Their aim is to seize control through a typical agrarian-based movement. Moreover, these revolutionaries consider communist China to be their inspiration, and graffiti on Kolkata walls stand testimony to this bold and brazen statement.

Perhaps more alarming than the statements made within India by the Maoist revolutionary leaders are those that are made from beyond its borders; Radio Peking extolled the Naxal Bari uprising, and referred to it as Spring Thunder.
The Naxal peasant uprising became even more organized after the establishment of Communist party of India (Marxist–Leninist) by Charu Majumdar in 1969. From this point onwards, the mission appeared to become bold; the ideology began to extend to other parts of the nation. Though, this initial success was restricted when the police killed Charu Majumdar in 1972 while he was in their charge. Without their leader, the rebels became latent for a while. This was the time for action on the part of the Indian leadership; they could have made an attempt to win over the peasants by considering their demands and bringing justice to them.

However, that opportunity was squandered, and by the late 1970s, the Naxal movement had once again gained momentum; it spread as far as Kerala and Andhra Pradesh, Bihar and Punjab, as a fragmented effort, but was effective. Two of the most significant factions were the Peoples War Group that was based in the villages in Andhra Pradesh, and, the Maoist Centre, which was based in the jungles of Bihar. It is these two factions that merged in 2004 to intensify the Maoist movement.

At the present time, the Maoist movement now operates in more than 220 districts across twenty states of India.
This is a dreadful statement because of the impact it holds; the Maoists have the ability to strike at targets across 40 % of India. Their main strike zone is known as the Red Corridor, which is an area covering 92,000 sq kms. The Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) claims that 20,000 armed Maoists are active out of a total of 50,000 that operate under different organizations.

Despite of how many armed militants are there, the people in India would yearn for firm and persistent effort by the Indian leadership to uphold security. However, India’s weak response to the Maoist movement, operation ‘Green hunt’, has had little success. This operation was met with a counterattack in Bengal and Bihar. As a result of little thought put into the strategy to deal with their apparently largest domestic threat, many Indians have perished.

It is obvious that any military act has to be accompanied by a follow-up plan by state governments in terms of appeasing the agitated people in the bothered areas; concerned authorities must attend to the desires of those being deprived of their rights. While this is a rough outline of what ought to be done, the Maoists remain resolved to take control of India.

In the midst of such evident threats in the face of Indian authorities, they have to re-think their job as a major country in South Asia. This must have been the realization many years back. However, they have sustained their efforts in the form of dissatisfied plans carried out by the completely Un-Islamic Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan [TTP]. The Indian Research and Analysis Wing [R.A.W] has spent a great deal of its resources running this organization along with other western clandestine intelligence agencies; in a combined effort, they have tried to make the TTP look like an offshoot of the Afghan Taliban. Indeed, there is worthy difference between the two, and their game-plan has been exposed along with their ‘Cold Start’ Fourth Generation Warfare Strategy. They have made a spectacle of themselves, and continue to do so, while back home their very survival at stake.

The Disgraceful List

To say that terrorism is deeply rooted in Pakistan is hardly an overstatement anymore. But, I guess that the CBI has taken this all too seriously!
When people demanded for severe action against terrorism in Pakistan by India, our dear old uncles in all their glory decided to finally take a step. And what step may that be? A step which has not just entirely goofed up the little good reputation that CBI had left within the country but also made us infamous in the eyes of the world.

Dawood Ibrahim

It is indeed amazing how ignorant CBI officials (who are supposed to be excessively vigilant) have been regarding this. Their so-called step against stopping terrorists operating from Pakistan has resulted in nothing but sham for them Our CBI officials prepared a “Most Wanted Men” allegedly seeking shelter in Pakistan, and then demanded Pakistan to hand over the aforementioned people over to India. All these people mentioned in the list were directly involved in many terrorist attacks that took place in the country over the years, including high profile criminals like Dawood Ibrahim, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Hafiz Saeed, and others involved in various other terror strikes in the country such as the November 2008 Mumbai attacks, Delhi blasts, attack on Akshardham Mandir  etc.
The list was handed over to concerned Pakistani officials during talks in the month of March at home secretaries level. The drama began when two people in the list were found to be currently residing in India!

 Feroz Abdul Khan

One of the mentioned, Feroz Abdul Khan, accused for the 1993 blasts has been residing in Arthur Road Jail, Mumbai for the past year. Khan was arrested by the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police and handed over to CBI, Mumbai in February 2010. It so turns out that the Mumbai CBI forgot to inform the CBI Headquarters in Delhi!
The other, Wazhur Kamar Khan, an accused in the 2003 Mulund Blast, had been staying in Thane with his mother, wife and children after he was let out on bail. He was also involved in the 2003 Vile Parle and Ghatkopar blasts and in the 2002 Mumbai central train blasts.

Two of the most wanted men residing in India, in Indian jails no less and then we demand Pakistan to give them to us!
Sure, the CBI accepted it’s mistake, citing it to be a matter of “human error”!! It is but incredible that our country’s top investigative agency is not aware of “most wanted men” in their jails!
Apparently,” the lapse had occurred on the part of an official who had failed to inform Interpol Lyon for the cancellation of Red Corner Notice and update records of Interpol Wing, CBI.” The list has been removed from the CBI website now, and it has been termed that it is being updated.
This is not the first time that the CBI has committed such a blunder. There have been many other cases. The Government too has been left red faced by this goof up, as they deserve to. The number of faults made by the CBI and the Government at public expense are innumerable. We are being governed by a bunch of incompetent people at all levels, be it in the political areas, or bureaucratic ones.  The CBI is too busy foiling the attempts of the opposition party to actually take care to be updated about the terrorism situation of the country.
The most interesting bit is that neither of the two countries of India and Pakistan seems to be much keen to do terrorism away. India, for not checking the list that included people who were responsible for the deaths of thousands of fellow citizens before handing it over to Pakistan and Pakistan, for not even caring as much to open the envelope handed over to them!
Even more interestingly, when a country like Pakistan with all its friendship with United States, did not hand over the whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden – the biggest of America’s enemies – why will it hand over terrorists to India?! India and Pakistan have never been friends, have they?! So of course to expect a country like Pakistan, where terrorism has infiltrated from top to bottom, even in their military and air force, to hand over those terrorists who they harbour and support to India, is that not a travesty?
It is time to make a difference, time to cleanse our government and our police, time to prove that when a single man rises in a country of billions, he can bring about a revolution.
